Comprehensive guides for Nigerian university aspirants: JAMB UTME registration, subject combinations, cut-off marks, Post-UTME screening, course selection, and university tuition profiles.
JAMB 2027 registration will follow JAMB’s standard process — profile code, NIN linkage, accredited-centre registration, and e-Facility steps — but the official 2027 price, dates, and deadlines have NOT yet been announced, so this guide gives the full process and preparation now, and must be updated with official figures the moment JAMB publishes them. JAMB 2027 registration requirements are the documents, details, and eligibility conditions candidates must meet before registering — NIN, O’Level, course choices, and biometric capture. This guide is the requirements checklist, distinct from the registration-price-and-how-to-apply guide (which covers price and steps) — and the official 2027 announcement, when published, governs any cycle-specific changes. No 2027-specific requirement … Read more
JAMB 2027 registration centres are JAMB-accredited CBT centres where registration is completed — and the official 2027 centre list has NOT yet been published, so this guide explains how accreditation works, how to find and verify a centre, and what to expect there, and must be updated with the official list when JAMB publishes it. … Read more
IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is a one-year advanced-level programme, run by accredited institutions, that prepares candidates for Direct Entry admission into Nigerian universities at 200 level — without writing UTME. University admission in Nigeria works through a single central system: you write UTME with JAMB, you are screened by the institution(s) you chose, the institution proposes candidates for admission, JAMB approves the proposal on CAPS, and you accept the offer on CAPS. No step outside that system — no agent, no list, no payment — … Read more
Verify a university admission portal in three checks: the institution is on the NUC’s list of recognised universities, the portal address matches the institution’s official website (reached by typing it yourself, not by following a link someone sent you), and the portal’s behaviour matches a real admission system (JAMB-number login, published lists and fees, official … Read more
Take your O’Level result slip(s) and your JAMB registration number to an accredited JAMB CBT centre or a JAMB office, and ask them to upload the result to your JAMB profile. You do not upload it yourself from your phone for an initial submission — the upload is done through the accredited centre’s system. This … Read more
Send RESEND to 55019 or 66019 from the same phone number you used to create your profile code. JAMB will send your existing code back by SMS. That is the whole recovery — you do not create a new code. Losing the code feels like losing your registration. It isn’t. Your profile still exists; you … Read more
To reject an offer, log in to CAPS, open Admission Status, click Reject Admission, and confirm it. Rejecting that offer does not end your admission chances — you stay in the pool for other institutions — but rejecting that particular offer is generally final, and its slot can go to another candidate. Rejecting is a … Read more
There are two admission letters, and you need both: the JAMB admission letter (printed from JAMB e-Facility, a paid service) and your institution’s admission letter (printed from the institution’s official portal, where the institution issues one). Confusing the two — or printing only one — is the commonest clearance delay for new students. The JAMB … Read more
