About CareerMedal

CareerMedal is an independent educational research and guidance platform built to provide Nigerian students, UTME candidates, undergraduates, and early-career graduates with accurate, verified, and official-source information.

Our Mission

Navigating tertiary education and early career pathways in Nigeria is filled with fragmented information, unverified rumors, and costly mistakes. From creating a JAMB profile code without cybercafé extortion to applying for NELFUND student loans and preparing for NYSC mobilization, students deserve clear, step-by-step guidance they can trust.

Our goal is simple: eliminate the guesswork, protect students from fraudulent schemes, and provide free, high-utility resources that help every Nigerian scholar achieve their goals.

Our Editorial Standards & Verification Policy

Unlike many educational blogs that copy unverified figures from one another, CareerMedal enforces a strict, non-negotiable fact-checking hierarchy:

  • Official Portals First: Every date, fee, eligibility requirement, and portal link is sourced directly from regulatory bodies including the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), the National Universities Commission (NUC), and accredited institutional registrar portals.
  • No Speculation on Deadlines: When an official announcement has not yet been gazetted, we clearly inform our readers rather than inventing cut-off marks or registration windows.
  • Tested Solutions & Worked Examples: Our how-to guides feature actual SMS syntax, error-fix directories, and step checklists tested by experienced educational advisors.

Independence & Transparency

CareerMedal is an independent digital publication. We are not an agent of JAMB, NELFUND, NYSC, or any Federal or State Ministry of Education. We do not sell admission slots, e-PINs, or government employment forms. All our editorial guides are accessible completely free of charge.
