JAMB 2027 Registration: Requirements, Price and How to Apply

JAMB 2027 registration will follow JAMB’s standard process — profile code, NIN linkage, accredited-centre registration, and e-Facility steps — but the official 2027 price, dates, and deadlines have NOT yet been announced, so this guide gives the full process and preparation now, and must be updated with official figures the moment JAMB publishes them. Do not rely on any 2027 price or date quoted anywhere until JAMB’s official announcement confirms it.

What 2027 registration will involve (process, established)

• Profile code first — NIN SMS to 55019 or 66019 returns a 10-character profile code, as the JAMB evergreen guides cover. Biodata is pulled from NIMC, and the code is unchangeable, as JAMB states.
• Accredited centre registration — registration, completed at JAMB-accredited CBT centres, as JAMB states, not through agents or unofficial outlets.
• O’Level upload — O’Level results, uploaded only via accredited CBT centre or JAMB office, as the JAMB guides cover. Awaiting-result candidates, follow the awaiting-result rules in the evergreen guides (max 2 sittings, only 1 awaiting).
• e-Facility account — the e-Facility portal (efacility.jamb.gov.ng), used for CAPS, corrections, and related services, as the CAPS guides cover.

Requirements to prepare now

• NIN ready — National Identification Number, ready and matching your biodata, as NIMC records state. Biodata corrections, NIMC-first, as the corrections guides cover.
• O’Level details ready — O’Level subjects and grades, ready, matching the subject-combination requirements for your chosen course, as the subject-combination guide covers.
• Choice of institutions and courses — institutions and courses, chosen, with cut-off bands checked per institution, as the cut-off guides cover (established bands only; unverified institutions state no figure).
• Passport photograph and biometrics — registration, involving photograph and biometric capture at accredited centres, as JAMB states.

Price: what is known and what is not

• 2027 price NOT asserted — the official 2027 registration price has not been announced at the time of writing, so no 2027 price figure appears in this article, deliberately.
• How prices work — JAMB registration prices, set by JAMB per cycle, as JAMB states, and published in the official announcement. Any price quoted before that announcement, from blogs or agents, is unverified.
• Correction fees (established, separate) — portal corrections, established at ₦2,500 per correction (₦3,500 quotes = portal + CBT centre charge), as the corrections guides cover. This is a correction fee, NOT the 2027 registration price — do not confuse the two.

How to apply, step by step (process)

1. Get your profile code — NIN SMS to 55019 or 66019, as the profile-code guide covers.
2. Wait for the official 2027 announcement — dates, price, and deadlines, confirmed from JAMB’s official channels, as JAMB states.
3. Visit an accredited CBT centre — registration, completed at accredited centres only, as JAMB states.
4. Complete registration and collect your slip — registration slip, collected and kept safe, as the method states, for exam and admission processes.
5. Upload O’Level results — via accredited centre or JAMB office, as the guides cover, before admission can proceed.

Scams to avoid

• Agents selling registration — agents, charging for registration, as the method states, risking invalid registration. Register at accredited centres only.
• Fake JAMB portals — lookalike websites, harvesting details and fees, as the method states. Type official addresses directly, never via forwarded links.
• Early price quotes — prices, quoted before JAMB’s official announcement, as blogs or agents state, unverified. Wait for JAMB’s announcement.

Sources and last update

• 2027 status: NOT YET ANNOUNCED. No 2027 date, fee, deadline, or centre list is asserted anywhere in this article, deliberately — the official 2027 announcement has not been published at the time of writing. When JAMB publishes the 2027 details, this article must be updated in place with the official figures, and this notice replaced.
• Official sources ONLY for dates, fees, and deadlines: JAMB’s official website and accredited CBT centres, as JAMB states. Competitor blogs are never fact sources for JAMB details.
• Established JAMB facts reused here (from the JAMB evergreen guides): profile code via NIN SMS to 55019 or 66019; biodata pulled from NIMC; O’Level upload only via accredited CBT centre or JAMB office; corrections via the e-Facility portal. Where earlier guides flag conflicts (fees, SMS charges), this article asserts no single figure.
• Scam patterns: agents selling registration, fake JAMB portals, and ‘special centres’ charging unofficial fees are red flags — register only through JAMB’s official channels and accredited centres, as JAMB states.
• No admission outcome is promised anywhere in this article.
